01 / WHAT IS A DIGITAL CATALOGUE?
A catalogue is a data guide that intelligently classifies millions of archive records. From newspaper pages to individual news items, from manuscripts to authors, our broad library inventory is organised into independent catalogues optimised for every researcher's needs.
02 / CROSS-INDEX SUPPORT
On Wikilala an author is more than a name. Thanks to the Authors Index, clicking an author shows their newspaper serials, printed books and even letters found in the archives — all together in a single window.
03 / FULL-TEXT (OCR) CONVENIENCE
All of our visual and periodical catalogues have been scanned page by page with AI-assisted Turkish and Ottoman Turkish OCR. This lets you find not just the headline but even a small footnote inside the page.
